SupplyConnect AG today announced that Paul Melchiorre has joined its Advisory Board. Paul will advise the company on go-to-market, enterprise positioning and growth.
Earlier in his career, Paul Melchiorre joined SAP as employee 200 in the United States and rose to Executive Vice President of Global Accounts. In 1998 he joined Ariba as its first outside executive and built its global field organisation across sales, implementation, service, alliances and channels; SAP acquired Ariba in 2012. He went on to serve as President of iPipeline and as Chief Revenue Officer of Anaplan, where he served as interim CEO and helped take the company public in 2018. He is currently an Operating Partner at Stripes.
“Many suppliers still handle transactions through email, PDFs and spreadsheets, and enterprises need those transactions inside their SAP Ariba and SAP Business Network processes,” said Melchiorre. “SupplyConnect approaches that problem in a practical way, and I look forward to working with the team.”
SupplyConnect provides an agentic-AI connectivity layer that enables off-network suppliers to participate in SAP Ariba and SAP Business Network without portal registration or any change to how they work. It extracts structured, confidence-scored transaction records from the emails, PDFs and spreadsheets suppliers already send and delivers them into the buyer’s SAP environment.
