Alexis Hartmann joins SupplyConnect as Chairman of the Board

SupplyConnect AG announced that Alexis Hartmann has joined the company as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Alexis brings more than 20 years of experience across procurement, enterprise software and supply chain technology, from both the buyer and technology sides of the ecosystem. He started his career in procurement at Valeo, before joining Ariba, where he spent eight years, and later led sales at Coupa across France and Southern Europe. Since then, he has continued to work at the intersection of enterprise technology and supply chain, including leadership roles at Prewave and Pelico, and is an active investor in emerging technology companies.
“SupplyConnect is addressing a problem I have seen throughout my career: enterprise procurement networks are only as effective as the suppliers connected to them,” said Hartmann. “Making it materially easier to bring suppliers into existing procurement processes has the potential to unlock significant value for both buyers and suppliers.”
As Chairman, Alexis works closely with the founders and the board on SupplyConnect’s strategy, enterprise growth and long-term development.
SupplyConnect activates off-network suppliers into SAP Ariba and SAP Business Network processes, working with the documents suppliers already send.
